Milwaukee Radio Amateurs’ Club

Milwaukee Radio Amateurs’ Club

Amateur Radio

Description: The Milwaukee Radio Amateurs' Club will be sharing the many facets of amateur radio (also known as "ham" radio) with the community. The 99-year-old organization is one of the oldest, continuously operating amateur radio clubs in the country. In partnerships with other Southeastern Wisconsin radio clubs, they will set up a fully operational amateur radio station on-site, showcase how amateur radio can be used in high-altitude balloon launches and tracking, demonstrate how Arduino and Raspberry Pi can be used with radio communications, and teach the public Morse Code.
