The Immersive Fluid Flow Experience
Description: This project consists of a simulated flow of water-like fluid projected onto a large wall or screen. People or objects that walk/run/are placed between the projector and the screen cast shadows, like big shadow puppets. The fluid flow reacts and flows around the shadows in spectacular fashion, causing colorful curls and spinning vortexes of fluid flow to burst into life. This is based on a real scientific fluid dynamics model and was created by UWM researcher and Ph.D. candidate Tom Hansen.
