GE Design & Build Challenge

GE Design & Build Challenge

What is the GE Design & Build Challenge?
A real-world challenge that allows makers to show off their skills, creativity and resourcefulness! On the day of the event, teams will receive instructions, a work space and tools, access to a hack rack of raw and repurposed materials and time to create. Then, it’s off to the Challenge course to determine the winning team!

Who can participate?
Anyone age 16 or older* can register as a team to represent a school, business, corporation or organization, or as an individual. Teams consist of four people; those who register as individuals will be placed on a team.

* Participants ages 12-16 may register as part of a parent or guardian’s team. Teams may not include more than two members under 16.

What do we win?
Winning team members will each receive a $100 Visa gift card, Maker Faire Milwaukee T-shirts, other swag, and a custom-made GE Design & Build Challenge team trophy.

It all takes place at Maker Faire Milwaukee at Wisconsin State Fair Park on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from noon to 4 p.m.

Register by September 12, 2016 to receive team recognition signage at the Challenge and in a news release about the event.
